CHILDREN'S LESSONS

GROUP LESSONS FOR PRESCHOOLERS AND THEIR PARENTS

Come join the fun and lead your child around on a pony for a half hour while meeting parents of other horse-crazy children! Instructor will supervise as each parent/child/pony trio parades around the ranch. $20 per session and sign-ups are for month-long sessions in advance.  Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.  If you have a group of two or more kids who would like to form a pony lesson group at another time, just give a ring to 541-408-4080 and we can probably arrange a more convenient time.

 GROUP LESSONS FOR KIDS AGE 6 & UP

 Children have fun as they learn by playing games as well as receiving lessons in proper equitation.   We believe both kids and adults have a much better time riding when they learn the proper buttons to push on a horse rather than just plopping along as a passenger. Our lessons are a lot more than going around in a circle.  Come out and watch one and see for yourself how much fun horseback riding can be! 

Lessons are an hour long and meet once a week.  Cost per lesson is $25, and students sign up for monthly sessions in advance.   Groups are limited to six students maximum.  We have both indoor and outdoor arenas for chilly or wet days. 

Children's Group Lessons are divided into three levels:  Level I riders are less experienced than Level II and so on.  

Please call Sarah at 541-408-4080.We teach all levels of riders, but for safety's sake require private instruction at least once if the student is riding for their first time ever. 

GROUP LESSONS FOR ADULTS

Friday mornings at 9:30 am and Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:45 p.m. we have group riding lessons for adults.  Also Sunday afternoons at 1:00. This is the place to tune-up those rusty riding skills from your own childhood.  Or perhaps learn them for the first time. Perfect for moms and dads who are tired of just watching at the barn....or anyone who wants to ride!   Your horse - $20 a session.  Our horse - $25 a session.  What have you got to lose?  Trail riding, arena skills, we'll do it all.  No judging, this is for fun!

PRIVATE LESSONS - CHILDREN & ADULTS

Private western riding lessons are avaiilable for $30 per lesson.  Each lesson is one-half hour long, and you ride on one of our well-trained school horses.  Provide your own horse and lessons are $25.  Hour long lessons are $45 on one of our horses, $35 on one of yours.

TRAIL RIDING LESSONS

Trail Lessons are two hours long and are $60 using our seasoned trail horses.  Learn to navigate streams, canals, forests and meadows through incredibly gorgeous country.  Small groups. Highly reccomended!
